Merry Christmas!

Christmas in HK
Merry Christmas to all of you!!! I hope all your wishes and dreams for the year were fulfilled. May you all have a blessed and prosperous year ahead.

I’m in Hong Kong right now so I’d like to share some images that represent the Christmas spirit here in Hong Kong.

Peking Rd. and Nathan Rd. and nearby streets all filled up with people just walking around enjoying the cool breeze. This was taken around 10:30 pm. I expect the crowds to be on the streets until 1-2 am. Why do they do this every year? I ask myself that question every year. Any ideas why people in Hong Kong flock to the streets on December 24 and 31?

  1. Most likely because it’s really festive to be in the streets than for them to stay home. Home meaning their tiny, cramped apartments.
