It’s my blog’s 5th year anniversary!

Happy anniversary to my blog!! What started out as a way to show my food pictures to my cousins abroad has become a full time hobby. 

For me it’s still a hobby since I love to eat and I do enjoy taking pictures. I also find pleasure whenever I get a comment or email thanking me for introducing them to a new dish or restaurant. 

Every year I’m surprised that I still blog. There are some days I’m too lazy to write or I get too caught up playing Pet Rescue Saga or Farm Heroes Saga but most of the time I still manage to come up with a post a day. 

I just want to say a few words to all of the new bloggers or those thinking of starting a blog. It’s never to late to start. Just write something you’re passionate about and most importantly do it for yourself. I treat my blog as a journal of my travels and meals. Somehow writing about the places I’ve been to makes me remember it more. I often look at my older entries to remind me about the countries I’ve visited. 

If you’re new to this blog or if you’ve been with me for the past 5 years keep on reading because I’ll be around for a long time. I would love to hear from you specially all the lurkers. 😀

  2. Happy Anniversary! I super love your blog! I feel like I know you already from reading your posts! I think I’ve read every single article you’ve written, and I eagerly wait for your new post every time. I am in the US, BTW, in a small rural area in Missouri. I’ve been abroad for 12 years and it’s been 4 years since I went back home, so reading your blog keeps me updated with the food scene in the Philippines. Though, sometimes, I try to stay away when I’m on a diet coz I always end up hungry after looking at your pictures…hehehe..:)

  7. I may be a bit late, but here goes . . . a very happy anniversary!

    I’ve only started travel blogging myself. (Well, I’ve done bits and pieces for years now as a side thing on my anime blog, but only since last year on a purpose-built travel blog – and not very well at that!) I remember coming across your site a long time ago whilst trawling the net for airline trip reports; now I’ll have both those and your food posts to keep coming back for.

        Hardly on the cutting edge of blogcraft, but it’s a start. I hope I’ll get better as time goes on.

        A lot of it’s about Japan (been there 5 times and planning to go back at least once a year) – frightfully addictive country. That’s what I get for starting out as an anime nut. (^_^)
