One of my favorite buffets in Manila is at Makati Shangri-La’s Inagiku restaurant. The last time I wrote about it was in 2009 when I thought my pictures looked good. Hopefully I’ve improved with these pictures.
Inagiku’s sashimi and sushi section is very popular with everyone. I don’t really know what each one is called so I’ll just let the pictures speak to you.
My favorites are the fusion sushi creations. There’s tuna underneath the melted cheese and tobiko.
Just look at what they can do to the simple kani (crabstick).
This one is ebi (shrimp tempura) topped with all kinds of good stuff.
Asides from this spicy tuna salad there was also squid and salmon versions.

Eat all you can uni baby!!!

I took a lone shot of the sashimi as an afterthought that’s why it’s blurry. With all the delectable looking sushi this looked ordinary.
They also had a salad bar and several cold dishes which I ignored.

I used to love their Wagyu burger but the recent times I’ve eaten it it was hard and overcooked.

I wish the soft shell crab had more meat instead of mostly legs.

The chicken tasted similar to Bonchon.

The most popular station was the teppanyaki table where you can have fresh seafood and meat cooked fresh and to your liking.

They now have more dessert options but my favorite is still their coffee jelly.
Tempura was served directly to our table.
I liked the thinly sliced beef more. The steak was a bit tough.
Lunch buffet at Inagiku is available on Saturday and Sunday for P2,076 net.

Leslie wow such great food. Too bad of soft shelled crabs but still not bad. I still a small eater and get full easy so buffet is hard for me but not for my big eater family.
In Tapei most buffet places have time limited so it hard on diners who want to stay a bit longer.only in Taipei and Hong Kong.

I’m the same way Betty. I also get full fast that’s why buffets are not my first choice.

I am a huge fan of your blog (you and Jinlovestoeat are my favorite food bloggers ever!), but I have to say that there is a problem with this post’s photos. Most of the shots are unfocused, and as a result, they look blurry. Anyways, it’s only for this post, I still love your blog! 😀

Thank you Windon! I guess I got carried away with bokeh. It’s supposed to be one or two pieces of sushi in the foreground are clear while those in the back are blurry.
