I love staying at nice hotels around the world and taking pictures of the rooms since I always do extensive research before I book a room. I seldom get to see hotels in my own hometown in Manila though. After our scrumptious buffet lunch at Cucina we asked to see a room in the newContinue reading “Hotel Review: Marco Polo Hotel Ortigas, Manila”
I’ve been to Macao a number of times and other than a stay at Wynn when it was new, The Venetian was where I always stay for the simple reason that they had the biggest rooms which were the best value for money. Last August I decided it was time for a new hotel soContinue reading “Hotel Review: Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central”
When Rochelle and I were planning our trip to New Zealand there were many things to decide on. Do we want to go to the North or South island? What areas will we go to since our trip was only 13 days? And one of the most important was where were we going to stay?
The Philippine media group for the World Street Food Congress 2013 was billeted in Days Hotel in Zhongshan Park. The hotel was a 3 star hotel but very new having opened only last December 2012. Paris is divided into 20 neighborhoods or arrondissements. Each area has it’s own charm and specialties. I really couldn’t decide which to choose until myContinue reading “Paris: Lenox Montparnasse Hotel”

On the way to the hotel while still in Taoyuan district we were fascinated with these small, seemingly empty stores with scantily clad girls. I asked Benjie what they were selling. He replied, “ngaContinue reading “Taipei Day 1 – Hsuan Mei Hotel”
About 3 months ago celebrity chef Todd English came to Manila to open the 2nd branch of Todd English Food Hall. The first branch is in The Plaza Hotel in New York City. Imagine the hoopla this caused with Manila’s diners who wanted a taste of the TV chef’s restaurant. The lines were crazy long that’sContinue reading “Todd English Food Hall Manila”
Our most memorable and gut busting meal in Macao was at Xin in Sands Cotai which was connected to our hotel, Sheraton Macao Hotel.
