We’ve been eating Japanese food non-stop in Hong Kong. Our last Japanese meal was at Watami a Japanese owned international restaurant chain with more than 600 branches in Japan and more than 50 around the world. There are two branches of Watami in Manila.

They had a LOT of choices on their menu. The prices were really reasonable and the food wasn’t bad at all.

The salad was typical of a Japanese salad with some unexpected toppings like nori (seaweed) and roast pork.

There was more potatoes than veggies.

Don’t expect gourmet Japanese food at Watami. If you want quick, cheap and satisfying Japanese food then Watami is for you.
