Jane or Queenjane as she’s known on this blog treated Mila and I to lunch at 145° Fahrenheit for her birthday. The name of the restaurant refers to the ideal temperature for cooking a medium rare steak or as a friend in the next table told us 145 means “I Love Steak”.

pesto rolls? and i forgot to ask what the spread was. it was sweet.

steak condiments: horseradish, orange marmalade and mustard
The steak was tender but nothing that will make me swoon. Maybe it’s because I’m not really a steak lover. Overall it was ok.
The seabass was perfectly cooked and seasoned. But what I really liked was the toasted risotto under the fish. It was unique and really scrumptious with the sauce.

Sea Bass with New Zealand Mussel
Jane almost fainted when I suggested the Pacific Lobster. Thankfully it was awesome! Jane loved it and so did we. It was the best dish during lunch. The lobster was grilled and covered with gruyere cheese and herbs. It was so succulent and perfectly grilled. I could taste the freshness of the lobster. It’s super sarap! You must order this. Just close your eyes when the bill comes and hand over your credit card and sign.

lobster love
It was an amazing coincidence to enter the restaurant and see this super friendly couple sitting there. It was my lucky, lucky day. Why? Read on.
I got to take pictures of all the food they ordered. But when I commented that it’s too bad I couldn’t review the food, they sent samples to our table. Isn’t that luck?

Chicken Caesar Salad
We got to try the lamb loin and short ribs. The lamb was spicy and didn’t have any heavy lamb taste. The short ribs is the second reason to visit this restaurant. It must have been cooked forever because it’s just falls apart with a fork and the bbq sauce is so delicious.

chocolate mousse with caramelized bananas
I love the plates, serveware and mugs they use in this restaurant. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable. Overall it’s a good place to eat steak or seafood. Average cost per person is P1,000 to P2,000. But you get what you pay for.

Hi Leslie. My name is Ron. Thanks for sharing info about 145 Farenheit.
