There are so many malls in Tsim Sha Tsui and I try my best to go to most of them even only to window shop. When I went to The One which is located along Nathan Rd. and the corner of Granville Rd. I didn’t expect to find a couple of dessert places which I just had to try.
I wasn’t really planning to buy cheesecake but this large poster drew my attention. I love anything orange and it’s rare to find an orange cheesecake.

I just love their packaging specially the two sets of plastic “rake & shovel” that came with my small cheesecake.
The small cheesecake was about 5″ in diameter.
I kept the cheesecake in the refrigerator overnight before I tried it yet it was very, very soft. It had a good flavor but was quite mild for my taste. It was better than those ultra mild Japanese cheesecakes though. I prefer a denser and richer NY style cheesecake. I did like the orange segments inside the cheesecake as well as the candied orange slice on top of the cheesecake.
With my cheesecake in a bag I continued looking for a place where I can have coffee and dessert. I saw Harlan’s Cake Shop and looked at all their tempting cakes.
I wonder if anybody bought this gingerbread house for HK$980.
They had a few whole cakes available too. I had my eye on the green tea chocolate cake which weighed 1 lb. and cost HK$238.
They had many cakes to choose from but once I saw the orange dark chocolate cake I didn’t look further.

You can see the cake was really small just enough for a few bites. My Lavazza coffee was strong and good.
Even though the cake was small the rich dark chocolate mousse filled with orange segments was very satisfying. It was more than enough to satiate my sweet tooth.
I saw this store selling Hermes inspired bags. Check out those animal bags!
I love my pomeranians and this t-shirt is pretty cute but I don’t think I want to wear it.

Wow these look good! I agree the ny style cheesecake is the better than the mild Japanese ones.
