My cousin Sharon who works in DC wanted me to see the view from POV, a rooftop bar in W Hotel. I was to meet them there at 5:30 pm.
After my super satisfying and filling lunch at Central I walked around the area and shopped a bit. I enjoyed the sights along the way but the heat was horrible.

POV was a very hip looking bar.

The view was indeed spectacular. 
The first thing you can see from POV is the Treasury building. 
Behind the Treasury building is the White House. 
On the other side of POV you can see the Washington Monument.

My cousins and I only stayed for a drink because we were starting to glisten from the heat. 
POV also had an air-conditioned lounge bar but the view wasn’t as good as the one at the rooftop terrace.
