After walking around Times Square a bit we went to Magnolia Bakery to try their famous cupcakes and oter goodies.
I first heard about Magnolia Bakery from the famous skit on Saturday Night Live and scenes on Sex and the City. Since they made cupcakes famous a lot of bakeries have followed suit. 
I bought a couple of cranberry chocolate chunk cookies. They were really chewy, fudgy and the dried cranberries gave it a nice tart flavor to cut the sweetness. I really liked it! 
Sha got a slice of the chocolate icebox cake made homemade chocolate wafers layered with whipped cream. It was just ok for me.
La bought a red velvet cupcake which we all found really dry and crumbly unlike the super moist cupcakes of Georgetown Cupcakes. I was really disappointed with the cupcake that I forgot to take a picture of it.
