Place de Madeleine is foodie’s area. We just stepped out of Fauchon when I saw Hédiard right across the street. I wasn’t as familiar with the store as Fauchon so I was quite amazed when I went in.
Hédiard is fine grocery store. They carried pastries, candy, vegetables, coffee, spices, olive oil and many more.
This store is also an excellent place to shop for a picnic.
For my Hédiard picnic I would get a huge slice of quiche.
Any of these salads would go well with my quiche.

They had the most flavors of pâtes de fruits I’ve ever seen and a lot of it were quite exotic.

They’re not cheap either. This box of 30 fruit jellies cost €35.
coffee beans from around the world
We tried some of their aromatic extra virgin olive oil.
preserved fruit in bottles and fruit juices
Just look at how gorgeous their vegetables are.
Check out the huge white asparagus.
The cherry tomatoes looked like candy I wanted to pop in my mouth.
My purchases 😀 Trust me I wanted to buy much, much more.
