I don’t usually go to a restaurant when it’s brand new but since Project Pie was about artisan pizza, an important food group for me, and it was nearby I went there for lunch yesterday.

Balesin Island Club – Phuket Village
From the south of France I now take you to Thailand on my visual tour of Balesin Island Club a resort in the province of Quezon in the Philippines. The 500 hectare tropical paradise is made up of 7 different villages each with it’s own villas, restaurants and pools.

Most of the villages in Balesin Island Club feature single detached villas and you will need to walk or take a golf buggy to go to the restaurant. St. Tropez village is set up just like a boutique hotel with everything you need in one building.
