For our Tuesday lunch I suggested Kanteen in The Fort which served Ilonggo food and my friends quickly agreed.
Most Tuesdays I have lunch with three good friends. It’s the day that I put my diet on hold because after lunch we would have dessert and merienda before calling it a day. We usually try new restaurants but this time we revisited an old favorite to try their new dishes.
I enjoyed Kitsho’s king crab leg hot pot so much Jin suggested I try Toki’s oyster hot pot. Toki is located above McDonald’s across S & R at The Fort.
Sarsa has been on my must try list but I never prioritized it since I wasn’t too excited to eat inasal or bbq meat. That’s what I thought summed up Sarsa’s Negrense cuisine. Boy was I wrong big time. So wrong I ate there twice last week.
When I went to Europe last year my favorite place for food was the coastal city of San Sebastián or Donostia in Spain. From Michelin 3 star Akelaŕe to pintxos bar hopping I just loved all the unique dishes that tasted familiar yet surprising.
This was my third time to eat at Early Bird Breakfast Club and not once have I eaten there for breakfast.
There’s so many new restaurants in Bonifacio Global City and I don’t think I’ll ever catch up and get to try them all. Take it one restaurant at a time, Grasshopper.

After our dinner at Las Flores we walked to Wildflour for dessert. Net One Building where Wildflour was located was just across One McKinley Place.
There is no shortage of Spanish restaurants in Manila and every time a new one opens I want to try it since I just love tapas and paella.
