Dolby Atmos at Greenhills Cinema

I was able to wrangle a ticket to yesterday’s launching of Dolby Atmos at Greenhills Cinema 6, 7 and 8. Dolby Atmos is available in 27 countries around the world and Greenhills Cinema at the Promenade is the first in the country to offer it.

Quick Tour of Melbourne CBD

When I went to Melbourne last March with my friends we stayed in the Central Business District. An advantage to staying in the CBD is the Queen Victoria Market and you can basically just walk and walk and see a lot of the tourist attractions.

Melbourne: Han Guuk Guan

I wasn’t surprised that my friend Deb was able to find an authentic Korean restaurant in Melbourne’s CBD tucked away in an alley behind Victoria street. She knows all the hidden gems in Melbourne thanks to her sources who know good food.

Melbourne’s Little Italy – Lygon Street

My posts on Singapore are done so now I will continue with posts on my trip to Melbourne last March.

Ya Kun Kaya Toast

One of my most pleasurable meals in Singapore was at the original branch of Ya Kun Kaya Toast. They have branches in several malls but I suggest going to this branch where waiters yell the customers’ orders and things get done fast amidst the seeming chaos.

Cuero Leatherware Philippines

Take a break from all my food posts and check out these beautiful and affordable leather bags. No, I’m not turning into a fashion blogger. I just want to introduce the new business of my friend Mary Ann and her niece Kriselle.

Tiong Baru Market and Hawker Centre

As much as I enjoyed my experience at the Singapore Food Trail I still yearned to visit a real hawker center in Singapore.

Singapore Food Trail

Any time I can eat in a hawker center is a good thing. I actually ate at the Singapore Food Trail twice last June. The first time was on the day I arrived and the next was with the whole group led by  KF Seetoh.

The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands Singapore

I thought I wouldn’t get to see the Marina Bay Sands hotel after taking so many pictures of it from afar. Thankfully our tour guide, Eros, took pity on me and brought us there for dinner after visiting Gardens by the Bay.

Singapore: Gardens by the Bay

[singlepic id=68 w=640 h=480 float=] It was raining in Singapore that afternoon and we were so worried that we wouldn’t be able to go to the Gardens by the Bay but Eros, our tour guide, guaranteed it us that it would be no problem.
