I’ve eaten at Le Petit Souffle at their first branch at Century City mall but both times it was for dessert. They have a wicked matcha parfait! Now that they’ve open a second branch at SM Mega Fashion Hall I’ll get to eat there more often.

Mateo’s Restaurant Café
If you’re like me I learn about new restaurants through social media, whether through a post on Instagram or an article on the web. I’ve never heard of Mateo’s before even though I’ve most likely passed by it. My partner chose the place for our meeting because he passes by it all the time.
Cyma at Shangri-La Plaza
The last time I ate at Cyma was in 2011 and I suggested we have dinner there since I saw Chef Robby Goco post pictures of some of the new dishes he created for Cyma.
Todd English Food Hall Manila
About 3 months ago celebrity chef Todd English came to Manila to open the 2nd branch of Todd English Food Hall. The first branch is in The Plaza Hotel in New York City. Imagine the hoopla this caused with Manila’s diners who wanted a taste of the TV chef’s restaurant. The lines were crazy long that’sContinue reading “Todd English Food Hall Manila”
Le Chef at The Manor, Baguio City
You may wonder what we did in Baguio last February? We skipped all the usual tourist attractions like Burnham Park, Wright Park even the market since our vehicles didn’t have enough space for all the veggies we wanted to buy. We did go to Mines View not see the St. Bernard or the views butContinue reading “Le Chef at The Manor, Baguio City”
Bistro Ravioli at SM MOA
If it weren’t for my friend Deb I don’t think I would ever get to try Bistro Ravioli and that would have been a shame. Let me tell you what you’re missing.
La Nuova Pasteleria
La Nuova Pasteleria in San Antonio Plaza in Forbes Park has been open since 1978. The first time I ate there was in Novemeber 2009. The second time was in November 14, 2013.
Bacon, Mushroom & Kale Pasta
This post is all about finding kale in Manila. I’ve eaten kale in the US and I liked it. I even made baked kale chips once. Until recently I couldn’t find kale in any supermarket.
Margarita Forés’ Grace Park
Here’s another farm-to-table restaurant. This one by the acclaimed chef and restaurateur Margarita Forés. I’m a long time fan of Cibo as well as her catering so I was excited to try her new restaurant. I’ve read some early not so good reviews that’s why I waited until a couple of weeks ago to tryContinue reading “Margarita Forés’ Grace Park”
Birthday Lunch at Green Pastures
I celebrated my birthday by treating my college friends at Green Pastures at Shangri-La Mall’s east wing. Even though the restaurant just opened I couldn’t wait to try Chef Robby Goco’s new baby.
