Dinner at Napa Restaurant & Bar

Rochelle and Chris wanted to see my cousin Angie since she was a gracious host to us when we went to Taipei two years ago. We were thinking of a restaurant that was kid friendly and at the same time something new. Warren suggested Napa Restaurant & Bar in Quezon City. Napa and 8 SpicesContinue reading “Dinner at Napa Restaurant & Bar”

Masatami Shave Ice

We didn’t have any dessert at Delicious Kitchen because I wanted to use the coupons I was given for Masatami Shave Ice located across the supermarket of Robinson’s Galleria. I’ve seen this kiosk before but never had the desire to try it since I wasn’t fond of Hawaiian flavored ice. I didn’t know they also hadContinue reading “Masatami Shave Ice”

Delicious Kitchen by Eat Well

For my office mate’s birthday we went to Robinson’s Galleria Veranda to see which restaurant to eat at. We decided on Delicious Kitchen for some Chinese food. The restaurant had these awful green accent lighting on the walls that gave my pictures a terrible green tinge. We ordered two bowls of wintermelon soup and hadContinue reading “Delicious Kitchen by Eat Well”

Regent Soft Cookies

There’s a new product out in Manila’s supermarkets, Regent Food’s Soft Cookies. I was sent a basket of all the Soft Cookie variants. You can see which one I opened first. These cookies were inspired by popular Japanese soft cookies. There are three fruit flavors -mango, strawberry and melon plus chocolate which isn’t a fruitContinue reading “Regent Soft Cookies”

A Slice of Pizza Love @ Nolita

I have a love/hate relationship with pizza. I love it to death but I hate the fat and calories that come with it. I did the ultimate sacrifice by not eating pizza for 1 year and now it’s time to get reacquainted with an old love. Where else should I celebrate this momentous occasion butContinue reading “A Slice of Pizza Love @ Nolita”

Dinner at Tanabe Japanese Restaurant

Before watching Lady Gaga’s concert last May we went to Mall of Asia for dinner. Deb asked me where I wanted to eat. I asked her if the Japanese restaurant I ate at when Mall of Asia was newly opened was still around. She excitedly said, “Yes, Tanabe is still open!” To say I wasContinue reading “Dinner at Tanabe Japanese Restaurant”

Dinner at El Cirkulo

In Manila new restaurants open and close as fast as you can blink. Some restaurants are so popular that they reach their peak too soon and lose business in a year or so. In my opinion restaurants which serve consistently good food stay open much longer. Such is the case with El Cirkulo.Whenever the questionContinue reading “Dinner at El Cirkulo”

Dinner at Brasserie CiÇou

The first and last time I ate at Restaurant CiÇou in Makati was in 2010. I really liked the food despite lots of mixed reviews I’ve heard and read. I was sad when they closed since I wasn’t able to go back. When I heard they opened a new restaurant in Greenhills I was ecstatic. ImagineContinue reading “Dinner at Brasserie CiÇou”
