Hello my readers!! Sorry I haven’t posted in such a long time. I have an incurable disease called “Tamaditis” (extreme laziness). I have such a long backlog of trips and restaurants I decided to start with my latest trip to Hokkaido and hopefully work backwards.
I just came back from a trip of a lifetime to South Africa and it all started with snagging a buy 1 take 1 business class ticket on Cathay Pacific. Read my trip report.
My family spends the Christmas holidays in Hong Kong every year away from the traffic madness. I’ll be featuring my favorite restaurants in Hong Kong as well as some new discoveries.
Ever since Philippine Airlines changed management there have been several changes like the newly renovated lounge in the Naia terminal 2, the improved airline food and the change to the Plaza Premium Lounge in Hong Kong.
When I went to the airport last August for my flight to Hong Kong I was shocked to find Philippine Airlines’ newly renovated lounge. I must say I’m very impressed.
Last June I went to New Zealand to see some hobbits. I left less than 24 hours after I arrived from Singapore. It was a good thing I had the foresight to pack my luggage for NZ before I left for Singapore.
Last March I went to Melbourne, Australia with my friends. We took Philippine Airlines since it’s the fastest way to get there. The direct flight took a mere 8 hours. The best way to start an early morning flight is with a bowl of hot chicken arroz caldo from Philippine Airlines’ Mabuhay Lounge. I was so happy to ride in Philippine Airlines’ 777-300ER which was quite comfortable even in economy. Welcome additions like a cup holder, bag hook and usb port were much appreciated. Since very few airlines go to Madrid from Manila direct we chose the best airline with the cheapest business class seats and that’s Qatar Airways.
