I’m a very bad buffet eater because I usually eat the cheap stuff and I get full fast. My dad insisted I try the buffet at the new Marco Polo Hotel along Meralco Avenue in Ortigas Center. He’s the one who discovered it and he’s eaten there several times already. In short he loves it.

Regular readers of this blog know I LOVE cookies. I love them more than cupcakes, cronuts, donuts, ice cream and macarons. Although apple pie and cheesecake compete for a space in my heart and tummy.
My friend Rochelle and I went on a Saturday eating spree at the new SM Mega Fashion Hall which started at Osaka Ohsho then Boqueria and ended at Lucca Bakery for coffee and dessert. Since that day I’ve been back to Lucca two more times and it’s quickly becoming my favorite place in the mall.
With several new restaurants in SM Mega Fashion Hall (Building D) that I wanted to try we thought it would be best to eat a little in each place just to get a feel of the food and decide if we want to go back for a more in depth exploration.
It was my first time to go to SM Mega Fashion Mall, the latest addition to SM Mega Mall’s sprawling collection of buildings making it the biggest mall in the Philippines.

Last February 21 I went to Century City Mall in Kalayaan Ave. Makati to see the mall and try Caliburger. Before I even got to my destination I was drawn in to Toby’s Estate just because I loved the look of the small store. It’s not everyday you see subway tiles used in Manila.
