There’s so many new restaurants in Bonifacio Global City and I don’t think I’ll ever catch up and get to try them all. Take it one restaurant at a time, Grasshopper.
I’ve passed by Ootoya Japanese restaurant (right beside Imperial Hotel on Nathan Road) so many, many times I never thought of trying it. I thought it was a very expensive restaurant. I was wrong.
On my last trip to Hong Kong I went on an udon eating spree. I’ve tried Jika Udon and Marugame Udon which both had the more traditional thick udon wheat flour noodles. This time the specialty was thin Inaniwa Udon from Akita, Japan.
A relatively new addition to iSquare’s roster of restaurants is Marugame Seimen, a popular udon chain from Japan.
While Manila is basking in the influx of ramen shops I’m happy to report that Hong Kong has seen the light and is starting to open udon restaurants.
