I’ve been to Macao a number of times and other than a stay at Wynn when it was new, The Venetian was where I always stay for the simple reason that they had the biggest rooms which were the best value for money. Last August I decided it was time for a new hotel so I tried Sheraton Macao Hotel which is under the Sands Cotai Central group of hotels and a sister hotel to The Venetian.

Dinner #2 was supposed to be at Yardbird but when we got there the restaurant was closed for renovation. We took a cab to nearby SOHO to look for another place to eat.
To go to one of Hong Kong’s most popular Mexican restaurants/watering hole you need mad navigation skills, a good gps map on your smartphone or a Hong Kong native to bring you. Luckily I have my friend and HK resident, Sharon to show me the way to Brickhouse.
I was supposed to eat somewhere else in Ocean Terminal but it didn’t look good so I decided to try Hainan Shaoye, a Singaporean restaurant specializing in Hainanese chicken.
Whenever I go to Hong Kong I stay in Tsim Sha Tsui that’s why most of my restaurant reviews are from the area. I hardly go to Hong Kong side just to eat. I figured there was more than enough good restaurants in my side of the harbour so why bother? Last August I met up with my friend’s sister, Sharon, who is now based in Hong Kong and she showed me a lot of good eats in Sheung Wan.

The newest restaurant to open in iSquare is modern Shanghainese restaurant Shanghai Popo. We had our first dinner there.
When I went to the airport last August for my flight to Hong Kong I was shocked to find Philippine Airlines’ newly renovated lounge. I must say I’m very impressed.

I had a craving for Bucky’s and when I Googled it I was surprised that Connie’s Kitchen Deli carried it. I’ve passed by this store along 4th street in New Manila countless of times but I never thought to stop because I thought the store only sold Connie’s Kitchen products which are also available in the supermarket. Imagine my delight when I stepped in.
